Evidence GA2-240202501-AA1-EV02. Virtual Interview Video

The development of this activity was very important because it helped us improve our communication skills, especially in the English language. By participating in the simulation of a virtual job interview, we had the opportunity to practice how to introduce ourselves in a professional way, explain who we are, talk about our motivations, and describe our personal and professional goals. This exercise also allowed us to practice expressing our ideas more clearly and confidently while speaking in English, which is essential for professional and academic environments.

During the activity, we were able to simulate a real job interview situation. This helped us understand how to answer common interview questions, how to speak about our strengths, abilities, and experiences, and how to maintain a respectful and professional attitude during the conversation. Practicing these types of situations is very useful because it prepares us for future opportunities in the workplace where communication in English may be required.

Another important aspect of the activity was exchanging roles with a partner. By doing this, we were able to experience both perspectives: the role of the interviewee and the role of the interviewer. Being the interviewee helped us practice answering questions and presenting ourselves in the best possible way. On the other hand, being the interviewer allowed us to understand how questions are asked, how candidates are evaluated, and how a job selection process is conducted.

This experience also helped us reflect on our performance and identify areas where we can improve. For example, we realized the importance of improving our pronunciation, speaking with greater confidence, and organizing our ideas more clearly before answering a question. In addition, it showed us that preparation and practice are key elements for communicating effectively in another language.

Overall, this activity was a valuable learning experience because it not only helped us strengthen our English communication skills but also gave us a better understanding of how job interviews work. These skills will be very useful for our future professional development and will help us feel more prepared when facing real job interview situations.
